Here is your opportunity to recycle your wardrobe and basically get a brand new one to you twice a year for free! If you sell your current wardrobe and then turn around and use the money to purchase a completely different wardrobe, then it’s like shopping for free!

We do this all the time for our kids when they outgrow their clothes! Now it’s our turn, ladies!

Consignors earn 60% of their sales and can earn up to 70% by volunteering before and/or during each shopping event.

Just register, enter items on our online site, prep and tag your items, drop them off and you’ll receive a check within 2 weeks of the sale.

What are the benefits of consigning with Back To The Rack?

  • Earn up to 60% of your sales!
  • All you have to do is prepare and tag your items and drop them off before the sale.  We take care of everything else.
  • We accept seasonal clothing that has been purchased in the last 5 years. Please ask us specifically about vintage classic clothing. Fall Sale 2024: We will only accept sizes 0-3m -14 years girl and boys clothing and shoes only, as well as Women’s XS-XL. (We will accept Women’s MJ or Lilly P at ever sale regardless of season)
  • What brands do you accept? We accept all designer brands as well as mall brands! Here are just a few we love:  Banana Spilt, Beaufort bonnet , Ann Taylor, LOFT, Produh, Columbia , Nike , Under armor, Lilly Pulitzer, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, Designer Denim: Jack and Jill, Pink Chicken , Milly, Trina Turk, Tory Burch, Lululemon, Matilda Jane, Michael Kors, etc.

What makes you guys different from other consignment sales?
We are a consignment sale strictly for women and children.

  • We offer a Ladies Night Out Shopping event, that is fun to attend with your girlfriends that includes door prizes and food from a local business. 
  • We will separate out specific brands so you can rush straight to those racks, like Lilly Pulitzer and Matilda Jane.
  • We sale on our Facebook months before the sale even starts.

What Items are NOT accepted? Items with stains, rips, tears, smells, pilling, or older then three years.

Children’s Clothing:

We DO NOT accept Walmart, Kmart, or Dollar Store Brands, bedding/home decor items, stuffed animals, formal dresses, business clothing, Womens pjs, spaghetti strap clothing, bedroom shoes, mens clothing or shoes or any scandalous clothing. We reserve the right to reject any items for any reason.

 Is there a limit to how many items I may consign?  
There is a limit of 300 items. Please only consign seasonal items and clothing that is 5 years old or less.

What is the benefit to the computerized tagging system?

  • Your tagging will go much faster!
  • Our shoppers will enjoy a faster checkout.
  • Payment for your sales will be ready sooner!
  • You can check and see what has sold each day during the sale.
  • Your consignor number remains the same for all future sales and you may leave unsold items tagged for the next time.

What items may I consign?  
You may consign women and children’s clothing, designer denim, accessories, shoes, gear, toys and handbags that correlate with the season’s sale and that are 5 years old or less.  Please do not be offended if we do not accept something due to stains, wear or brand.  Refer to our price reference guide for acceptable and unacceptable brands.

Who decides the price of my items?
You set your own price. Use the original price and brand as your guide or view our price reference guide.  General rule of thumb is 50-75% of original price.  Ask yourself, “What would I pay for such an item at a consignment sale?”  Price to sell!  Designate whether you want your item reduced 50%-75% ONLINE at our discount sale .

How much money do I receive back from the sale of my items?
Consignors will receive a base pay of 60%.

Are there any fees involved with the sale?
There is a $10 consignor fee which covers location, rentals, and advertising. The fee must be paid prior to registration. There is no entrance fee for shoppers.

What happens to my unsold items?  
When you tag your items, you will designate whether you want to pick-up or donate your unsold merchandise.  If you choose to donate your items, a local charity will come pick them up after the sale.  If you want to pick up your unsold items you must come during the scheduled pick-up time(Saturday of the sale from 3-5pm) to retrieve them.  Anything left after that time will become property of Back To The Rack and all items will be donated to a local charity.  We cannot make exceptions to this schedule because we have to vacate the sale site promptly. Items not picked will subjected to a $15 fee for not picking up items that were not marked to be donated.
